The Driving the Electric Revolution Challenge, funded by Innovate UK, has provided a platform for us to embark on a groundbreaking journey towards sustainable wind turbine manufacturing. In partnership with esteemed partners like Dyer Engineering, Hirst Magnetics, BC Electrical Techniques, and the University of Birmingham, we aim to develop flexible tooling for aluminium coil winding and in-situ magnetisation, tailored for GreenSpur generators ranging from 30kW to 1MW.
