Introducing the Multisec Multi-Point 34T Heavy Lifting Beam

Durham Lifting is excited to introduce the latest addition to their hire fleet, the Multisec Multi-Point 34T Heavy Lifting Beam. With a lifting capacity of 34 tonnes and a span of 10.5 metres, this beam has been designed to provide a versatile and reliable solution for a wide range of lifting applications across industries such as construction, manufacturing, and offshore operations.

According to Wan Djawad, Technical Director at Durham Lifting, the beam has been developed with a focus on delivering efficiency, safety, and ease of use. “We understand the challenges our clients face when it comes to lifting heavy, complex loads,” he explains. “The Multi-Point 34T beam is built to handle demanding conditions while offering the flexibility required for different lifting configurations. Whether it’s lifting large, irregular loads or ensuring weight is evenly distributed across multiple points, this beam provides the reliability our customers expect.”

One of the key features of the Multisec Multi-Point 34T Heavy Lifting Beam is its ability to maintain full load capacity, even at 30° and 45° sling-to-vertical angles. This ensures consistent performance in challenging lifting scenarios without the need to compromise on safety or efficiency. The inclusion of ISO 1328-compliant forklift pockets also enhances the beam’s usability, making transportation and positioning on-site both straightforward and efficient.

Multisec Multi-Point beams are designed and manufactured in compliance with BS EN 1993-1-1:2005 and BS EN 13155 standards, ensuring they meet the highest safety and quality requirements. As with all Durham Lifting and Multisec products, they undergo extensive proof load testing at Britannia Testhouse, guaranteeing their strength and reliability. “Safety is at the core of everything we do,” says Wan. “Our customers trust us to provide lifting solutions that they can depend on, and we take that responsibility seriously. By testing to the highest standards, we ensure they perform flawlessly when it matters most.”

While the 34T Heavy Lifting Beam is available for immediate hire, Durham Lifting and Multisec also offers the flexibility to manufacture additional models from the Multisec Multi-Point range to meet specific project requirements.

Designed with optimal lug spacing—150mm on heavy-duty beams and 250mm on lighter models—the Multisec Multi-Point beams ensure even load distribution, reducing strain on lifting equipment and improving overall operational efficiency. This attention to detail in design helps to safeguard both personnel and assets during lifting operations.

The company offers a versatile range of heavy lifting equipment, including spreader beams, Corner Units, and the innovative Multipoint system, with capacities ranging from 13 tonnes to 600 tonnes. With a commitment to supporting projects of all sizes, their equipment is always ready to go. Continuous investment in the hire fleet ensures access to the latest lifting solutions. The team works closely with clients to understand their specific requirements, delivering tailored and effective lifting solutions.

The Multisec Multi-Point 34T Heavy Lifting Beam is now available for hire, delivering a high-quality and efficient solution for lifting heavy and complex loads. Designed to meet the diverse needs of various projects, the beam is available for short-term hire or can be custom-built to suit specific requirements. Durham Lifting and Multisec provide expert advice and comprehensive support throughout the process, ensuring clients achieve optimal lifting solutions.
