Matt McGough - What a year it's been. Highlights....
Scottish expansion. Next level editing software. Forests. Charities. Refining our production process. Being on the docks at 2:30am. Whisky (more about that later). RTS Award. Offshore Wind. Renewables. Mad ideas. The UN. Chelsea Flower Show. Dublin trips. 5:30am call times. Big narratives. Wading through mud. 3 films in 3 weeks (you know who you are!). Rebrand! Miles and miles of cables. Finishing films that got stuck through the pandemic. No more pandemic films. Working in 10 languages. Streamlining our archive library. Making new friends. Welcoming back old friends. Rebuilding. Smiling. Having fun. Remembering why we do what we do.
It's been an enthusing year and you probably feel the same as I do, that it's just getting started.
We've got a few films to check out and the last little update for the year from us.
Lets go!
The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation
We were honoured to be asked to mark the tenth anniversary of support to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation with Newcastle Building Society. A very special charity, made of very special people doing some incredibly special things. Find out about Sir Bobby's "last and greatest team" and the hope that everyone involved brings to it.
Titans of Offshore Wind.
Our love for the visual world of renewables is nothing new, it’s been with us the entire time of Ithica. We were asked to create a bold film for the introduction of Offshore Wind North East in November, taking our knowledge of the sector and the key players in the industry to create TITANS. This was a special film for us this year, written on the hottest day of the year and shot through late summer ahead of the event. We went for a mixture of promo and documentary to hit the key points and let the subject breathe.

I'm going into 2023 full of hope. This comes from a fascinating production slate and peoples enthusiasm for the projects coming up. It's not going to be without its challenges but I really can't wait to get stuck in.
I hope you have a peaceful Christmas time and I'll catch you down the road.
Matt
