MMS Ship Repair are pleased to share some good news.

In January 2025, the business of A&E Woodward will become a part of MMS operating within our shipyard based on Alexandra Dock, Hull, UK.

A&E Woodward was established in 1908 and specialise in refurbishing ships propellers. The company has built up an excellent reputation over decades repairing marine propellers and associated precision shafts and stern gear.

During the next few months relocation from A&E Woodwards Lime Street site to MMS Shipyard on Alexandra dock shall take place.

MMS would like to reassure all A&E Woodward customers past, present and future that it’s business as usual. Quotations, costs, storage of equipment and the high standard of work will be continued by the same A&E Woodward workforce.

The acquisition enhances MMS Ship Repairs one stop shop, being able to offer propeller repairs in-house reduces both cost and time for the customers and ship owners.
