The Crown Estate announced a £15 million funding opportunity for the UK offshore wind supply chain
As revealed by Julia Rose and Duncan Ayling at Energi Coast Regional Supply Chain Showcase event (2/04), the second round of The Crown Estate’s Supply Chain Accelerator fund is now up and running – and it’s offering up to £1.5 million per project in matched funding to help catalyse UK supply chain capacity and capability for offshore wind.
Following a successful first round in 2024, which awarded nearly £5 million to 13 organisations, this new round has been expanded to £15 million and now supports projects across both fixed and floating offshore wind.
Specifically, the Crown Estate is looking to fund development-phase projects that support the deployment of fixed-bottom and floating offshore wind-related port infrastructure and supply chain facilities across the UK.
Eligible projects include:
⚡ Manufacturing, fabrication & late-stage testing of key components
⚓ Port infrastructure to support construction, operations & maintenance
🔧Projects aligned with the UK Offshore Wind Industrial Growth Plan
🗓️Application deadline: 27 June 2025
📍 Open to UK-registered businesses & consortia
