Virginia Beach US offshore wind business assistance at OWC Glasgow

Advisers from one of the US's largest offshore wind clusters will be at Scottish Renewables' Offshore Wind Conference on 22nd January, and available in Glasgow the day before.  From the City of Virginia Beach - International Partners of NOF - they will be available to talk with members planning to grow their US business, and can help with facilities, recruitment, visas and other business services.

The largest US wind farm at 2.6GW, CVOW (Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind), is already under construction off Virginia Beach with many UK and European companies in the supply chain. Three more large projects are in the pipeline. Several companies have chosen to open their first US facilities in Virginia Beach thanks to its low business costs and taxes, available maritime workforce, proximity to US East Coast projects and its low cost International Incubator service.
