Muir Mhòr Offshore Wind Farm

Muir Mhòr (pronounced 'Moor-vor') is a 50/50 Joint Venture Partnership between Fred. Olsen Seawind and Vattenfall. Brining together decades of industry expertise to develop one of the worlds first commercially viable floating offshore wind farms, that will deliver tangible benefits to the local and national economy. 

Muir Mhòr is a 1GW floating offshore wind farm, located ~65km off the Aberdeenshire coast with an average water depth of 72 meters and is progressing towards being operational by the early 2030s. Once operational, Muir Mhòr will be able to power the equivalent of up to 1.2 million homes annually.
