RWE is the largest power producer in the UK, accounting for around 15% of all electricity generated in the UK, with a diverse operational portfolio of onshore wind, offshore wind, hydro, biomass and gas. As the operator of the UK’s largest fleet of gas-fired power stations, we play a critical role in ensuring the UK’s security of supply. In addition we have a diverse fleet of renewable projects, which we expect to grow considerably as RWE ramps up investment towards Net Zero. Our current project pipeline includes six new offshore wind farms totalling around 7GW, and a further ~2GW of onshore wind in Wales and Scotland. In addition, we are actively exploring ways to decarbonise our gas fleet through CCUS and hydrogen. We are targeting 2GW of green hydrogen production by 2030 in our core markets, including the UK.
